Bloodborne is still not coming to PC, but it is at least getting an animated movie

Having released on PlayStation 4 more than ten years ago, Bloodborne is one game people just can't stop talking about. Whether they want it to come to PC or just run at 60fps on the platforms it's already available on, neither FromSoftware nor Sony seem to want anything to do with the Souls-adjacent hit. After a long time with very little news, we have this week heard that it is getting some attention from Sony, just not the kind people were expecting.

Announced at CinemaCon 2026, Sony...

'Moves Of the Diamond Hand' Early Access Impressions

Solo developer Cosmo D’s latest game, Moves of the Diamond Hand, launches into Early Access today on Steam. Having released some of the most original, surreal games (see Tales From Off-Peak City Vol. 1 and Betrayal at Club Low), I was curious about what his latest project has to offer and had the opportunity to try it out.

Moves of the Diamond Hand is set in the same universe as Cosmo D’s other games, although not directly related to his previous titles. It's a first-person RPG with...

Anbernic RG Rotate announced, a retro Android handheld with a rotating screen

Surprisingly, Anbernic is the first retro handheld company to introduce some innovation this year by way of the Anbernic RG Rotate. The company officially made the announcement today by sharing the following video on their YouTube channel:

While specs details of the RG Rotate have not been announced, Anbernic does note that it features a self-developed ultra-thin alloy hinge. It will also be available in two color options (Aurora Silver and Polar Black) and buyers will have the choice...

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream leaks online three days ahead of its official launch

After reportedly being sold early in the US and screenshots of the game emerging on Discord servers in the past few days, we have now been able to confirm that Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream has leaked online. With the game largely focusing on the interactions of your own Miis and building your own island, there aren't likely to be any major spoilers to come of this, but those wanting to keep the experience as fresh as possible should still be wary leading up to the official release date...

'Sea of Stars Mobile' Impressions

ICYMI: Sea of Stars is a retro RPG-inspired game that launched on PC and consoles back in 2023. The game made its debut on Android and iOS devices this week, and I've had a chance to try the Android port and will be sharing my impressions here.

I'll admit that I'm not usually a fan of mobile games, but I was tempted to try this one out for two reasons. Firstly, Sea of Stars' pixel art feels like a perfect match for mobile devices, and I was curious to see if this full-fledged RPG holds up on such...

A hit on the Switch 2, a miss on the Switch - A weekend of playing The Rogue Prince of Persia

ICYMI: At the tail end of last week I was sent a physical copy of The Rogue Prince of Persia to cover. Being in the midst of a house move I don’t quite have the time to play a game non-stop at the moment, but I also didn’t want to just let the copy sit idle, so I settled on a compromise. Spend ten or so hours of my weekend playing it and throw my thoughts to paper. It’s not quite a full review, but in my mind it’s a long enough amount of time to be able to say whether I’ll continue on later, and a...

007 First Light delayed for Switch 2, set to launch "later this summer"

ICYMI: With its May 27th release date fast-approaching, fans of James Bond and Hitman alike are getting excited for IO Interactive's latest game. Blending much of the gameplay they've refined with the modern Hitman entries with the iconic secret agent, First Light is set to present 007's origin in an entirely new way. Those intending to play on Switch 2 will be waiting a little longer though, with the release date getting pushed back to "later this summer" in a tweet from the developer...

Rhythm Heaven Groove gets July 2nd release date alongside surprisingly reasonable pricing

ICYMI: Announced a little over a year ago during a Nintendo Direct, details have been relatively sparse about the latest entry to the Rhythm Heaven (Rhythm Paradise in PAL regions) series. It's not like there's really much that needs saying in all fairness, you somewhat know what you're signing up for with these games, stuffed to the brim with over the top rhythmic action. There's some good news for fans either way, with Nintendo announcing not just the release date for the game, but both the...

Steam Workshop support added to GameNative in latest v0.9.0 update

ICYMI: For those who have missed it, GameNative is an Android app that lets you play your Steam games on your phone and Android gaming handhelds. Since launching the team behind it have been busy making improvements, making logging in as simple as logging in on Steam, adding cloud save support, and most recently, adding support for achievements when played on-device. Now though things are being taken one step further with Steam's Workshop content now being available.

Pokemon Champions launches to mixed reception, GBAtemp tournaments set to start up again next month

ICYMI: After being announced more than a year ago, Pokemon Champions was set to be the definitive Pokemon battling experience. With the goal to have competitive play on a single platform that could itself grow and develop over time, along with an assortment of quality of life features to make the game as easy as it could be to get into, fans were excited to jump into the game today. For many though, that excitement has already faded.

I'll cut straight to it: Pokemon Champions is an incomplete...

Firmware 22.1.0 released for Switch and Switch 2, features unprecedented levels of stability

ICYMI: A little sooner than expected, Nintendo has released the latest firmware for their Switch and Switch 2 systems. On the surface this appears to be a smaller one, bringing back everybody's favourite patch note.

General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.

This update comes right on the heels of Atmosphere being updated, and the advice as always for owners of the original system remains to not update until we know the firmware is either compatible, or an update...
